These incredible props are capable of producing hundreds of thousands of unique colours. Each pair are shipped with a set of dazzling sequence combinations; from slow smooth fades through the rainbow to dramatic flashes of contrasting colours.
Hyperlights are made from lightweight aluminium and polycarbonate construction which makes them resiliant to even the hardest of knocks. Silicone foam rubber on the outside keeps you protected from any hard edges so you can use your props even when you're practicing your moves.
Each unit weighs just 90g including batteries which most spinners agree feels like a nice balance. If you prefer heavier poi simply add some weight into the end of the sock.
We feel it's important not to burden our customers with proprietry batteries which need yet another special charger so each HyperPoi is powered by a pair of AAA batteries. Depending on the sequences the Hyperlights are running, these will last you for about 45 minutes ..and if you run out in the middle of your festival AAA batteries are readily available in most garages so you'll not be left in the lurch.
Sensors inside the casing detect taps when you're not spinning and a simple menu system based on the number of taps in a row allows you to move between sequences, synchronise the poi to each other and put the props into a low power mode when you're done spinning. Just start spinning again to wake them back up. The sensors we use are extremely durable so unlike physical switches there's no chance any impacts are going to stop your props from turning on or off.
The fun doesn stop with the sequences the units ship with becuase hyperlights can be easily programmed using a computer. Build up custom sequences of almost unlimited size to create your own dazzling patterns then simply plug the poi into your computer with the supplied USB cable and upload your new sequences; the possibilities are endless!
Hyperlights are used by professional glow artists to produce state of the art performances such as the Halo Glow Show which aired on the BBC in November 2011. The Halo Glow Show won the episode with Hyperlight glow poi center stage in their finale act!
We pride ourselves on staying ahead of the game which is why we've made sure all of the software which makes your Hyperlights tick is upgradable without the need to ship your props back to us. Best of all though, we promise that we'll do this for free for the lifetime of the hardware so as we improve and add features over time, you'll be able to take advantage of the latest and greatest :-)
